Ammunition

We produce ammunition in a variety of configurations for seismic applications only.  

Sulfur-free smokeless powder - All our shells come loaded with environmentally friendly propellants that are far less corrosive than black powder.  While we do not offer black powder at this time, we can make rounds that are energetically and acoustically equivalent to legacy ammunition.

Electric ignition - Electric fire ammunition produces superior quality data compared to percussion fire ammunition by reducing the burn time of the propellant, and reducing the post-ignition acoustic noise of the system.  Any Betsy Gun can accept electric fire ammunition.

Percussion Fire - We produce ammunition for legacy Betsy Gun systems that operate using a firing pin.  

Water-proof - We offer shells that will survive in even the most inhospitable conditions, allowing the user to pour water directly into the shot hole to increase acoustic conductivity.
